Churchills Hut was in the Florentine Valley, in the South West of Tasmania.

Elias Churchill was a snarer, credited with catching the last known Tasmanian Tiger which died in the Hobart Zoo I 1936.

Unfortunately, the hut was destroyed during the raging wildfires of January 2019 that devastated large parts of the surrounding areas.
