The Tiger Hut at Liawenee is your home away from home in the Central Highlands. This wonderful facility accommodates up to 20 people in comfortable bunk rooms, is serviced by four showers, has two lounge areas and a fully equipped and spacious kitchen/dining area. It is nestled in natural bushland and well removed from the main road so as to ensure peace and privacy. All you need bring is food, bedding and toiletries.

Rates are $30 per person, per night. It is suitable for fishing groups, family holidays, celebrations, or just a quiet get-away.

The Tiger Hut has an interesting history, having been initially built in 1984 near Lake Adelaide during a search for the Tasmanian Tiger. The hut was removed in 1988 and relocated at Liawenee.
