Membership

Membership of the Society is open to any individual or organisation with a love of the mountains and their history, and to those people whose wild country experiences are made particularly enjoyable by using the huts, or who appreciate the refuge provided by them in emergencies.

Members receive regular communications, which keep them in touch with hut issues and work parties in particular.

General meetings are held on an 'as required' basis - approximately every couple of months, depending on current projects and issues to be addressed.

Members are welcome to attend all meetings, including the Annual General Meeting held in August of each year. Apart from these official occasions, it is up to individual members as to how much they become in the Societys activities.

Why not give it some thought and join in the work and the fun of work parties, explore the mountains, learn new skills and make new friends.

Current membership rates are $10.00 per individual, $15.00 for a family, or $20.00 for corporate membership.
